If you listen closely, the world makes music just about everywhere. Drawing inspiration from the sounds around us, this amazing installation makes use of 21 musical swings, each playing a different note. Also, using all of these together creates a musical piece, good enough to leave the most meticulous audiophile smiling with awe and glee. Also, some of the swings create sound only with the cooperation of the others, and is more than just a street-side art and music installation. Interactive and playful, this concept called the 21 Balançoires is placed in front of the Université du Québec à Montréal’s Science Faculty and is an ideal way to bring together people of all ages.
