Karim Rashid’s object of Skoop has been redesigned by designer Aleksander Mukomelov. The series of lamps were designed for a competition titled- “Replikanty 2008. New age”. The lamps will surely take your breath away with their unique and innovative designs. The series consists of three lamps – Bar stool Contrast, Floor Lamp FireFly, Light Ambre Light. Like its name suggests, the Bar Stool Lamp functions as both a stool and a lamp. The light is located at the bottom thus brightening the ground while the user can sit comfortable on the glossy top surface. The Firefly floor lamp is another elegant design that is made from organic forms and a multitude of small sources of light. A breathtaking piece, it will surely mesmerize you. The Light Amber Light is an organic lamp that creates an intimate atmosphere with its filament lamps of nonstandard shape that give out a soft glow. A unique series, it will mesmerize one and all.
