Baita Design has conceptualized a floor lamp named Escala. When occasion demands, besides retaining its original identity, Escala can be easily converted into 4 sleek stools. In today’s times when home appliances and furniture fight for space in box like homes, it comes as a breath of fresh air. What’s more it has been nominated as the finalist for IDEA Brazil 2009 awards. I think Escala deserves the spotlight that it is getting.
