Interactive tables have been around for a while now, and never fail to impress. The latest on the block is this innovation by designer Johan du Toit. Called the Formula D Interactive Card Table, this intelligent piece of furniture sports pattern recognition technology and is in essence an object recognition table. Enabling multiple users to navigate content information by placing objects marked with optical markers on the table top, the Formula D sports 2 receptacle one each side for the objects. Once placed on the surface and recognized, a menu appears around the object allowing you to select your further course of action.
