Claus Frazenburger brings the ‘Mars’ mobike!

motorcycle01.jpg The legendary design ‘White Mars’ by engineer Claus Frazenburger designed in 1920, for the company ‘Mars’, made him instantly famous and was kept on a pedestal since then. His designed motor bike is also available in red and green colours, apart from the white shown here.In 1873 Paul Reissmann founded the company ‘Mars’ for the simple production of simpler things like cast iron stoves engine driven sirens etc. It was only in 1903 that he began with the production of motorcycles and smaller cars. In 1923-24 the company came under economical strain due to inflation, so John and Karl Mueller took over the ownership of the plant and the Mars machines were sold under the name ‘MA’.

Get Set Go in the waters- Amphibian vehicle by David Buchwaldek

hepav1.jpg David Buchwaldek from the Czech Republic has brought the submarines straight from the 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea and invented helicopters with a genius that belonged to Da Vinci and the likes. Now he invents a Human Powered Electric Amphibious Vehicle-HEPAV that helps you to pedal your way into rivers and ponds. Though ‘human powered’ and ‘electric’ may sound a wee bit contradicting, but while this has to be pedaled manually, the body is in fact an electronically assisted waterproof buoyant shell that helps keep the vehicle afloat on water. This can also be easily carried in a car, so its portable as well. The designer confirms that the egg shaped shell is very sturdy and hard to break, though he points out that the making of the vehicle is labor-intensive, so mass production becomes a task. This obviously reflects on the price, and the HEPAV may burn a slight hole in your pocket.

infinite in faculties, in form and moving how express and
admirable, in action how like an angel, in apprehension how like
a god! the beauty of the world, the paragon of animals—and yet,
to me, what is this quintessence of dust? Man delights not me—
nor woman neither, though by your smiling you seem to say so."
