Designer Tom Dixon has come up with this brilliant gazebo for Polo lovers called the Veuve Clicquot Comet. The main purpose and inspiration for this was for the Veuve Clicquot Gold Cup for the British Open Polo Championship that will be held on July 19 at Cowdray Park, Midhurst, West Sussex. It is supposed to be a reinterpretation of classic summer item the gazebo. He got the idea owing to a vision he had – “I had a vision of sitting inside a comet drinking champagne! Foolish, it’s true, but from a construction point of view, the spherical shape is extremely rational in terms of structural integrity, which allows me to use a recycled and recyclable, lightweight material for these temporary pleasure domes, which will look like Veuve Clicquot Comets that have crashed into the polo field”.
Since the space is short and the design is so cool, you will have to book early and save your slot.
