Making technology simple is more difficult done than said and Apple has been known to roll out some pretty exceptional designs. Drawing inspiration from the technology-giant’s brainchild, the iPod, architect John Beckmann of Axis Mundi fame sculpted into being the Cloud House, a weekend home in far-flung Colorado that’s designed keeping simplicity in mind. Located at Colorado’s Lizard Head Pass near Telluride, the Cloud House is shaped with five overlapping ellipses making it resemble a simple cloud drawing. With a wooden patio and a south-facing porch, the Cloud House sports floor-to-ceiling glass walls, circular sky lights and uncomplicated minimalist interiors making it an eye-pleasing residence indeed.
