It’s a great thing to walk around and put those muscles to use, however there comes a time that just want to plop down and catch your breath. There are other times that you just want to take a seat on the side-bench and watch the world pass by. For such scenarios there is the [C]space DRL10 Pavilion. This structure was first erected in Bedford Square, London to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the Architectural Associations Design Research Lab. It’s coming to a Singapore sidewalk by 2009. I like the nice cocoon-like effect that the architects have given to the space. It not only provides shelter and shade from the elements but also offers a safe haven for children to run about. It’s been developed by NEX architecture
