'Vue' is a brilliant timepiece designed by Yves Behar / Fuse Project with Japanese fashion designer Issey Miyake. The idea of this stunning watch is to have the wearer experience the mystery of time, hour by hour. It shows us the appearance and disappearance of time, by only showing the current hour, while the last hour and future hour subtly fade in and out, through the rotation of an inner circle. I'm absolutely mesmerized by the simple yet fantastic watch. The white design is really classy.

Here is a table with a twist. A twist that’s really needed if you like your table clutter-free and very organized. No paper spread, no phones or calculating devices. Someone somewhere must have read our minds. That someone is designer Shawn Bonkowski who has created the ‘message table’. It comes with an answering machine that is merged into the wooden table.
Here is one super cool watch design concept that is easy to comprehend and bowls you over with uber-cool looks. Welcome the Zero Wrist Watch by designer Robert Dabi. Its cool quotient is very high as it doesn’t use numbers or hands to tell time but just 2 circles which move around.

Designer brand Quinze & Milan from Belgium have given the world a combination of what we call a backpack and a sofa in a manner you cannot resist. They created Built to Resi(s)t for backpack company Eastpak at the Salone Internazionale del Mobile in Milan from 13-18 April 2010. It comes dolled up with heavy fabric, handles as zips as seen in backpacks.

I'm really impressed with the Boomerang Desk that was first released at the end of 1960's and designed by French artist MAurice Calka. This original fiberglass desk has made its way back with a limited edition of 35 piece. A little unknown fact is that French President Georges Pompidou was the proud owner of a white boomerang in the Elysée Palace. Serge Calka has made a re-edition possible and it is now manufactured by Singaporian furniture company Office Planner. This iconic desk is pretty useful for storage and with a lot of style. The orange seen is pictures gives it a funky edge.

Eco-building concepts are on a steady rise owing to the need of the hour and a necessity to capture renewable sources of energy. The Strata Tower in London’s Elephant and Castle Area is one such building concept that incorporates wind turbines in its original design. The building is said to be completed in July, and developers hope that the 42-floor, 408 unit apartment building will generate 8% of its electricity from the turbines. “The Razor” with construction cost of $19.7 million will feature 29.5 foot blades in its 19 kilowatt turbines on the roof. The turbines employ Venturi Effect to produce 50 megawatt hours of power each year. However, skeptics have their own doubts about this novel concept.
Polish architects at mode:lina are probably too weary of windmills and linear-efficient modes of energy, to have come up with the concept of energy-producing skyscraper. The pasta-like structure mixes wind, kinetic and water production for maximum efficiency. Besides that, it manages to look organic and functionally efficient as well. It somehow looks like the ‘life-tree’ in Avatar to me. Any stolen ideas, mode:lina? [Coroflot]

The concept electric bike posted a couple of months back, was good for the starters but not as good as the Shadow wireless bicycle that features wireless brakes, wireless throttle and a wireless pedal assist system. The bike is completely wireless unlike other normal bicycles, as it features integrated battery and motor design powered by proprietary, patent pending Daymark Drive™ technology, developed in Canada. Shadow bike can easily be recognized as a superlative bike design, owning to its 1000w power, lithium batteries, regenerative brakes and an integrated rim designs.
