When a drained pool is not in use for a long time, I often feel that the pool area should be used for something more useful than naughty boys jumping off the fence and practicing skateboarding. Finally, my woes are settled with the introduction of the Hydrofloors vertically movable floors that enable the client to exploit the surface area of a swimming pool room for other uses like recreation, social events, dining or dancing. The sophisticated system is almost invisible, flexible and rapidly adaptable. It’s interesting to watch the floor of the pool floor lowered to let the water gracefully flow into it in the video.

When I first set eyes on the GMC dust buster, I thought it was a new design of some model spaceship. (at least it looked so in the pictures) It has a horizontally elliptical shape, which is quite an interesting look for a domestic dust buster really! Its handle is positioned directly over the vacuum cleaner’s weight, so it’s easy to maneuver. It is also equipped with a fold-away nozzle that makes the product safer and more appropriate to the kitchen environment.

Designer Young-Chan Choo has beautifully crafted the cookin table and loaded it with intelligent features. Built low to the ground with a glass table top, it fulfils the dual purpose of cooking and serving. Retractable wooden shelves below the glass table give extra table space. Beneath that is a storage unit to keep simple utensils while cooking and an additional table unit is provided for kids. It is child safe too as the element heats up only when iron like metal touches it and the cooking surface cools down immediately after the cooking process stops.

Designer Sabastian Krabbe, who is utterly touched by the natural and cultural treasures of the Alps, has designed a minimalistic watch that is a just combination of earthy as well as urban. The watch’s dial is composed of stainless steel and is polygonal-shaped to remind of a naturally grown crystal. Its stainless steel face is etched with marks that signify twelve, three, six and nine.

We have massive structures being built everyday, but very few of them have revolutionary social significance as the Pedestrian Bridge constructed by American architect Bernard Tschumi and French firm Hugh Dutton Associes. The bridge has opened in La Roche-sur-Yon in France, where it connects the old centre of Atlantic coast town with newer districts across the TGV railway tracks. The massive tubular lattice bridge is a collaboration between the fields of engineering and architecture, and expresses a dynamic vector in both its usage and urban perception. The Pedestrian bridge crosses above high-speed railway tracks, providing an important urban connection for the two. The dynamic characteristics of the complicated structure are expressed through finished materials and the bright-red orange color is chosen to emphasize the urban significance of the bridge as a pedestrian vector.

Tea-time is the perfect time for some chit-chatting and family bonding. We are all proud of our families and would always like to have their love and support all our lives. Here a set of three pots that has of mum and dad looking at the kid as he’s the apple of their eyes. The shoe lace and corset are reminiscent of mum and dad and the kid is nude as is in all artifacts that suggest a family. However, I’m of the opinion that this pattern would have done even better had it been framed on Teacups.
