Traveling to and fro from one end of the city to the other every day takes a lot of my time. I use this time to get my share of snooze (can you think of anything better than that?). 4 out of 5 times it’s a failed attempt what with everyone on the bus seeming over-excited, chirpy and with an aim to keep me awake, or so it seems. I had to beat them and now I know how! I need a Napper! It’s a hood with masked earphones and Bluetooth lock for your luggage, and NapApp. Also the hood‘s inlay is padded with 3Mesh material, which has a spongy cushioning effect and high shock absorption against the vibrating windows. Isn’t that good enough for you? There is more…
Designer Hao Huang brings us a mouse concept that removes the extravagant casing of a regular mouse presenting a minimal, though revolutionary, design for the ease of use as well as transportation. It has two buttons for right or left click and when they are not in use, they can be attached to each other with magnetic force. This button mouse functions wirelessly as it comes integrated with signal emitter & storage battery that transmits power to the buttons. It lies parallel on the desktop on off mode and needs to be pressed simultaneously for scrolling making it ideal for left and right handed users. Only time will tell the mouse's comfort. Till then, we can only hope. [Coroflot]
A toothbrush is one of the most personal accessories that we use to maintain hygiene which we would like to keep dust free and clean. We wouldn’t like to compromise on the health issues not even while traveling. This solid aluminum case with brass hinges and a carrying handle created by Dominic Wilcox should answer our above need. It may be a tad heavy but the thought that the toothbrush is neatly packed surely offsets its drawback.

If you were aware of the principle that everything in this world is a manifestation of energy, you’d know exactly how to produce it or put it to good use. Energy is renewable through the most unconventional sources and one of them is mechanical energy. Take for example this Energy Ball that uses Piezoelectric material to convert impact energy into electricity to power an attachable reading light. If you happen to live on one of the hillocks in Brazil, where their electricity wires and power grid are entwined in the most complicated and irretrievable manner, the Energy Ball could come in very handy. This is done by the piezoelectric substances on the ball that can convert mechanical signals into electrical signals and vice versa. All you need to produce some electricity is kick a ball!

Innovation in our living space is all about juggling with materials and kinky designs that could do wonders to the way we look and manage things. Check out this unique lamp named 360° Ceiling Lamp. Made out of white plastic and mirror surface, it doesn’t even come across as a lamp until we switch on the light. This is the way we’d liked to be ambushed by our lighting fixtures. The light has a well thought out construction and one can choose from white surface or mirrored surface, depending on the environment. The easy to assemble lamp has original laser engraving which is sure to add special charm to your room. Another ambush is the superfluous circle in the middle of the lamp which is actually a bookmark! Thank me for you’d have done away with it if I wouldn't have let that out!
Dish drainers are one of the most common appliances in every kitchen. The large size of ordinary dish drainers makes it really hard to find a storage space. But the new Dish Drainer Geo designed by designer Jorre van Ast for Royal VKB promises to rid you of your storage woes. Designed based on geographical contour lines to drain small amount of washing-up, this new drainer is definitely a class apart. The gentle change in levels forces the water to drain off. The dish drainer is flat and thus takes up very little space. What is more, thanks to its unique design, you are more likely to display it rather than store it away. The amazing dish drainer is available in two colors, grey and blue.
