Mercedes-Benz_BlitzenBenz_2025_400.jpg The Mercedes-Benz BlitzenBenz concept was created by George Yoo, a designer at Mercedes-Benz Research and Development in Carlsbad, California. The exterior structure of the BlitzenBenz is designed to act as a base for the organic structure to sprout out from and form itself around. The individual wheel pods are held in place by this organic component. These can sense whenever the electric motors inside need to be cooled, the structure would then open up - similar to how a plant opens up to receive sunlight or water. The cool-blue lighting system of the vehicle was inspired by the bioluminescent capabilities of deep sea creatures.

Igloo shaped restaurant in Japan

hoto1.jpg Here’s a very interesting design of a restaurant that is shaped like an igloo and looks extremely artful. ‘Hoto Fudo’ by Takashi Architects is an igloo-like noodle restaurant near Mount Fuji, Japan. The unique shape allows for the outside air to easily breeze in while the people enjoy their Hoto. Hoto is the traditional noodle of Japan. The open door concept would allow for the wind, rain, and even snow that is outside to become a part of it design concept. It is pretty spacious from the inside, and personally I think it resembles a school mess.

Slit Chair by Dripta perches idly on your table

Slit_Chair.jpg I always fall back on utility products which function more than just a show-piece. The Slit Chair by Dripta is one table accessory that is meant more for table trimming than actual utility. It has little slits on two sides to ‘cram up’ anything readable from your table, right from newspapers to magazines. Now, why would anybody want to do that when they already have so much space on their table? Maybe I could use it when I’m cleaning up my corner.

Electric car looks bulky as well as light

electric_car.jpg The electric car designed by Jan Godlewski is pretty interesting. While all the other electric cars that have ever been designed get more and more sleek and stylish, this particular one sits on the other side of the fence. It resembles a carriage with a bulky body. While the wheels are thin and big, it gives a light look to the car. Not much can be said by just looking at the pictures, but as long as the design is even slightly deviated from the usual ones, it is always worth appreciating.

They have come up with 3 easy-to-use cell phones- PhoneEasy 410, the HandlePlus 326i and the HandleEasy 330, which seem perfect for the older audience that are regarded as the ‘seniors’ or the ‘Baby Boomers’ in the marketing jargon.
