Eclipse office partition system by Marcus Ward Curran
The Eclipse office partition system is a futuristic concept design by designer Marcus Ward Curran. The designer created this unique system during his honors year. The idea was to create an area that is conducive to enhancing both team and solo work whilst maintaining the feel and flow of the open plan. Three inter-related products which allowed an open plan office space to be divided into different areas came to birth thus. The fully adjustable system allows various levels of privacy. Depending on your work needs this flexible system can be used to complete various tasks. A great system, it will surely enhance the working environment.

‘Opera’ is a luxury mobile holiday home that resembles the ‘Opera House’
This looks like a tent and a caravan, but is actually a mobile holiday designed by Axel Enthoven. It has been inspired by the famous Sydney’s Opera House. The subtitle chosen is ‘Your Suite in Nature’ to suggest the best of hotel rooms, but in the heart of nature in this case. The Opera allows you to stay in the most beautiful places, but with the luxury of a wine cabinet, warm-air heating, espresso bar and an enclosed teak veranda. The canvas holiday home unfolds from a trailer and includes two beds, a toilet, hot and cold water, LED lighting and a mobile hob. This nomadic, contemporary living tent offers the quality of a luxury yacht combined with the outdoor feeling of camping under canvas. The Opera will be presented for the first time at the Design at Work trade fair in Kortrijk in December. This truly going to be your pride and neighbors envy! ‘Verb’: a multifunctional piece of furniture, personifies it’s name!
In the present day scenario of constant space crunch and inconvenience, multi-functional furniture is surely like a boon. Marlon Darbeau’s ‘Verb’ made from teak and plywood is one such extremely attractive looking piece of furniture. It allows the user to manipulate the shape of the object to turn into a table, a lamp or a chair. ‘Verb’ seems like the perfect name for it since it does personify the exploration of movement through space and time. The colors yellow and magenta are just too attractive to ignore. I would love to have this in my home, not only does it look ultra cool but is so useful too!

French Express concept mug
Yes, you read that correct. Aki Hirota’s made this coffee mug with French press function. The French Express coffee mug is basically aimed at straining coffee without increasing the part of the equipment. The designer has alternated the mug with a chamber that strains coffee which moves from the outside shell, making a cup double walled, instead of just having a shaft and the mesh filter.

Upside Down House is uber cool
This Upside Down House designed by Klaudiusz Golos and Sebastion Mikuciuk for the Edutainment exhibition company is the most bizarre house I have ever seen. It's a crazy house that is standing on the roof. Everything is the opposite of how it should be. I'd feel like I'm in an alternate world when I'd walk into the house. The architecture is something so unique that I can keep staring at it. But how do you function in there? It's located on the northern German island of Usedom, so do take a look if you are in the area. Ichiro the robot has a cool motion
Leiteq has designed a robot called Ichiro that is inspired from the idea of a wind-up toy reflecting the motions of nature through its walking movement. The prototype has been made from SLS 3D printing technique and measures 25 x 18 x 6 cm. It's focus is on straightforward motion and character. It looks quite interesting in motion and the six legs somehow remind me of a caterpillar. I'm quite impressed by the looks of the robot.
