iTablet - Apple Mac tablet

Apple_tablet_concept_1.jpg This is a Mac tablet created by Vern Hart – an iTablet with a huge display. It seems to have most iPhone applications, or at least most of the typical and useful iPhone applications but I don’t get the point really. What is it? Is it some plaque? Or am I too ignorant to really understand the brilliance of yet another gadget? Don’t get it.

Citroen reveals Revolte concept car

Citroen_Revolte.jpg Concept cars galore these days and why should Citroen sit back quiet? They launched designs of their Revolte at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show. The design has got some applause for its originality but also some stares of disapproval. For example, it has the feature of the a-pillars ‘which seem to bust out of the bodywork separate to the windscreen’. It also acts as a starting point for a style line which encircles side windows and doors and runs towards the front wheel... also helping disguise its four-door design. The front doors open in a conventional manner, while the back doors are hinged at the rear. Its interior styling is futuristic, but seems to leave behind a balance with its exteriors.

The chair is a part of a set of furniture pieces made out of rattan (similar to bamboo) entitled ‘Made in China’ created by Voirin. Her collection also includes a chair that resembles the iconic Panton Chair (a design created by Verner Pantonn in 1960).

‘Romeo & Juliet’ benches

Romeo-&-Juliet-benches.jpg The design of this bench is not very unique, just long square strips of wood, but the two holes on the benches to put up large flowerpots or small trees adds a touch of greenery. The bench derived its name ‘Romeo & Juliet’ by designer Vyvey & Partners, as the two trees on the bench (just like Romeo & Juliet) are destined to be together without being able to touch each other. Ideal for both private gardens and public spaces, these benches add a natural touch to areas with little or no greenery.
