Spooky Ear hangers for earrings

ear_hangers_4.jpg These are called 'ear hangers' and are designed by Atelier Van Lieshout (that’s a funny name!). It is supposed to be a pair of earrings that can both be worn or displayed as a sculpture. The uniqueness of this design is that the fused metal pieces are connected with body figures bent in different positions. It is extremely odd. It looks like alien fingers and if I wore it I would feel like my earrings are going to throttle and take my tonsils out. Spooky, extremely spooky.

Materials used are wood and acrylic paint and comes in various colors. It is a great bit of furniture for young children especially when they have a party or something. And they can play games like sleeping beauty and the seven dwarves and things like that. It’s nice.

Kragal Ladies handset with a phone and makeup kit

kragal_ladies_phone_1.jpg There is a lot of classification these days as compared to the past generation. Now it is all about classifying even the gender of products. On that note, the ladies phone Kragal handset that was created by Bulgarian designer Rumen Penev is a pretty neat idea. It is not only a phone but also includes a makeup kit hence being very apt for the gender. Its oval shape is feminine with the makeup kit at the back. It’s like you can be multi-tasking seriously with this device. Speaking on the phone, driving a car and applying makeup for your next meeting… it’s all there.

New laser, pen shaped mouse

laser_mouse.jpg The mouse was given the name because it looked like a mouse. But here’s a new mouse that is long and vertical shaped like a pen. The Scope Node wireless mouse was designed by Japanese manufacturer Elecom under their philosophy of rational design. They wanted to make the user feel like they are holding a pen. It has moved the ultra-sensitive laser directly under the pointer finger, rather than centering it, to make on-screen drawings more precise. The product is only available in Japan though so unless you live there you can just ogle at this picture. No prices given either
