Frank Lloyd Wright Lego Architecture collection on display

lego_architecture.jpg I like Lego. It’s so much fun. It’s one thing that appeals to all ages, all castes, all religions, all everything. The Frank Lloyd Wright Lego Architecture collection is an example of why it appeals so much. This collections has the Lego architecture building sets, coinciding with his exhibition 'from within outward' at the guggenheim museum. The line consists of six buildings, including two of his most famous and recognizable buildings - the solomon r. guggenheim museum and 'fallingwater'. How nice. Someone should also think of making the seven wonders of the world, unless its already made and I am neglecting the news.

Berlin’s Spree Bridge Badeschiff winter bathing ship

winterbathingship.jpg When you have a beautiful nation filled with certain untidy spots, efforts must be made to work harder in finding a feasible solution where people can still enjoy their land even when nature stresses to oppose. In simple words, - when the Spree Bridge Badeschiff in Berlin, Germany got too polluted the inhabitants of the city got the option to swim in fresh water, but figuratively. Hence came this cool concept of a winter bathing ship. It was conceptualized and designed by an architect team from AMP Arquitectos who proposed a bridge to the Spree by floating a pool on it. A 30 year old barge was modified in a nearby dockyard. It was reduced to its shell and filled with preheated and chlorinated water to form a 32m long pool complemented with a wooden bridge and a sun terrace.
