iChange concept car for the loner

ichange.jpg Tata's Nano was unveiled for the common man who wouldn’t mind making a trip to and fro work without the fear of getting wet in the rain or being thrown in the air when some big dude four-wheeler comes crashing on them. Swiss auto powerhouse Rinspeed has come up with a concept that isn’t same but is a little similar. The “iChange” is supposedly the world’s first car whose body adapts to the number of passengers on board. It is small and by the looks of it cozy enough with the looks of a sports car and not more than two people can sit inside at any given time – unless there are four of you and all together weigh 80kgs.

A chair of sails and ropes to relax

hellosailor.jpg This is a chair. It is made out of spare sail and some rope. What happened were the designers from KKA – Kjellgren Kaminsky Architecture in Sweden once went out sailing in the ocean outside Gothenburg. They then noticed, must have been out of beer, that the sails and ropes looked so soothing and calm in the soft breeze and thought that this was a nice idea to create a place to rest. So then after docking up they got some of the spare sail and some rope and ventured into creating this chair by threading the rope on steel tubes until the chair became rigid. They then sat and worked on this concept until it looked something like this.

A car that can fly too

ccc.jpg Ok, now tell me that this is supposed to be a design that we can believe in. A car that can turn into a helicopter… as in a flying car! I am not bluffing, the ZEEP Design showed this car that can transform into a helicopter. The car has got blades on the rotor that remains folded and out of sight when not in use. When it is in use, it will span out to convert it to a full-fledged copter alongside the tail rotor that’s generally tucked at the car’s rear comes out.
