The lineup includes a Coffee Table and a storage cabinet for your audio and video equipments. The versatile coffee table is best suited in plastic or wood constructions. A layer of foam or rubber beneath the surface could encourage it to become a random seating area as well. The vertical lines may seem random and unstable, but the horizontal plane enforces stability.

The idea was inspired the Heart, which constantly craves the company of friends and loved ones. Using Chumby's hardware its possible to feed and maintain your friend's aquarium remotely. The concept boasts of a colorful touch screen that allows you to feed your friend's fish and maintain a healthy aquarium. Fitted with sensors on the robot, the system monitors the habitat and the data and analysis is reported back to you online.

2009 Mercedes McLaren SLR Stirling Moss debuts at DAS

The new SLR Stirling Moss comes with 478-kW/650 hp and accelerates its V8 supercharged engine from standstill to 100 km/h in less than 3.5 seconds, and has a top speed of 350 km/h. adding a dash of elegance to the design, to make a unique sports car, the new Silver Arrow's equipment is sophisticated and decidedly spartan, doing without both a roof and side windows. There are just two wind deflectors a couple of centimeters in height to protect the driver and passenger from the airflow. Two air scoops integrated into the bodywork serve as rollover bars. When the two tonneau covers and the doors are closed the SLR Stirling Moss resembles a sculpture. An aluminum plate bearing the engraved signature of Stirling Moss covers the area around the shift lever.

Aston Martin and Foster + Partners win makeover for the London Bus

london_bus_1.jpg Close on heels of the Freight*BUS comes the announcement of the results of the Routemaster bus for London (held by Transport for London). Aston Martin and architects Foster + Partners won hands down along with Capoco Design. Runners up included Héctor Serrano Studio in the UK, and Miñarro García and Javier Esteban from Spain with their design 'Welcome Back'. Jamie Martin's 'The London Navigator' also joined the bandwagon. We can expect the award-winning design to become a prototype by 2011. Check out other cool designs after the jump.

Tukaani pincers are chopsticks for the west

tukaani.jpg Crafted from sterling silver the Tukaani is for folks who like to jazz up their cutlery. The makers say that it's a hand made eating device for Asian food consumers in the West. Luckily there are no boundaries as to who uses them, but you could use it only for Asian food! An upgrade to the traditional chopstick, the Tukaani resemble pincers or the bottom half of a safety pin. The spring action due to the curl on the end assures easy picking and delivery of food to your mouth…in short the grip is good. Unlike the chopsticks, the noodles won't slide out of the grasp. Here's another tit-bit, the Toucan's bill provided inspiration for this cutlery project.

Ergonomic Clamshell Mouse houses USB stick and works on cells

mouse 1.jpg Although its just student work it doesn't make the Clamshell Mouse any less important in style or functions. First of it's a brilliant idea that foresees multitasking with the mouse. And next, it gives a new dimension to this computer peripheral. The clamshell design is very different from the Microsoft Arc Mouse. Two things that capture your attention: the storable flash drive and the AA battery slot. This probably means that you can plug your stick into the mouse and route the content to the PC via it. The use of battery strongly suggests that it's a wireless buddy.
