Lunar Baby Thermometer
Duck Young Kong probably has kids or is a very intuitive person. Forget kids, but even when an adult feels ill and feverish, the first reaction is to check for temperature by touching the forehead. It's the best place that indicates temperature. Using this natural phenomenon as a base, the Lunar Baby Thermometer reads the child's temperature from the forehead. The device is to be placed between the adult's forefinger and middle finger and then touched on the sick child's forehead. Keep it touching the forehead till the thermometer beeps, indicating the final temperature. A very realistic design that can help in taking the temp as sick kids can be really cranky and squeamish. SwiTCh seating explores new dimensions in butt-placement
Where do you sit? A couch, a bench, a sofa, a chair…. I sit on the SwiTCh. How cool does that sound! Well the SwiTCh is a new concept in design, it is a chair and a table, a relaxing seat and a small working place, all rolled into one. This handmade wonder transforms very easily from a comfortable chair to a small working place. A 100% Belgian design, it is made out of massive oak and fine leather with a filled ball. I'm sure fitting this piece of furniture in your lifestyle will not be such a big problem, heck I'm totally sold on its contemporary style.

Samsung Horigamy harnesses Solar Energy
Horigamy by Andreea Tepes of Billa is an interesting concept. Here is a sheet kind of a structure that can be hung with your washing or flung across the branches of your garden tree to trap all the solar goodness required to charge your everyday gadgets. The contraption can even be added to your tote bag when you go out for a stroll to capture even more sun! In return it charges you cellphone, MP3 players etc with maximum efficiency. The point is, this solar sheet is truly versatile and kitsch that you won't mind flaunting it along with your bags or clothes. At the edges, there is an LED panel that displays the stats like the amount of power left on it etc. the sheet even hosts some cool LED lights that glow in the dark providing the perfect illumination. Thermal Baths in my backyard…what a luxury!
Now-a-days having a Jacuzzi or a hot tub in your backyard is a common practice, its no longer an exclusive deal. But imagine living in a city that looks like it's out of the Flintstone era with natural looking thermal baths and streams flowing with gay abandonment. Dominique Perrault Architecture designed the thermal baths of San Pellegrino in Italy for a design competition and won it for their vivid representation of modern facilities with a Neolithic tone. They designed a city centered around a main building, which would add to the city's other main structures. The main building would be the Grad Hotel and the casino.
